Actually visiting Morocco exceeded my expectations. We found the places we visited beautiful, safe and the people were friendly everywhere we went. exploring Morocco and visit the Sahara desert was... read more an old idea that we always want to experience since a long time so I contacted Morocco Trips Agency, which a friend had toured with earlier last year and highly recommended them. On day one of the tours, Mohammed, our guide/driver met us as agreed at our hotel and started a three-day tour ending in Fez. Mohammed came in a comfortable and newer 4X4 perfect for the long trip. Mohamed is fluent in several languages, including English, French & Spanish. Very knowledgeable of the areas we went through and very professional. He made us three feel safe and well looked after. Since he is from the desert area and does the tour frequently, people know him all along the trip and thus treated us as very well as well. We visited several small villages during the 3 days, ate different traditional Moroccan dishes, visited Ait Ben Haddou and stayed the first night at a beautiful riad. The next day headed to the Sahara, arrived at the Kasbah Mohayut and left our luggage, then went by camel to the campsite into the Sahara Desert, dinner under the stars with traditional Moroccan food and music, and an overnight stay in tents. The next morning we woke very early to watch the sunrise from the dunes and start heading towards Fez, which was nearly 7 hours away. we want to thank Morocco Trips Agency and give thumbs up for Moha. My family with young children and I have traveled extensively around the world, and usually I’m planning everything. But we decided on this trip during a very busy time of... read more our lives so we left our adventure up to Brahim at Morocco Trips Agency. We are so glad we did because he customized our trip and proposed destinations I would have otherwise overlooked! The pricing of his custom private tours were much better than the rigid itineraries for large tour groups. Brahim was very quick to answer the endless peppering of questions we had in a lengthy chain of emails to make our trip perfect.
Once we arrived, we met our guide Mustafa who took great care of us and immediately became our daughters’ favorite. The itinerary and pacing were great for our needs, and Brahim always checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying. The riads and luxury desert camp arranged were beautiful and had the most hospitable staff. (I cannot stress that enough — the best hospitality.)
Last but not least, we were welcomed into Brahim’s home and treated like family. It was above and beyond. We will forever cherish their kindness and generosity. Though we aren’t used to tour organization, I know this level of hospitality is hard to beat. I think with a private tour, you’re afforded enough guidance and intimacy to navigate what’s unknown and also to culturally immerse more, which is very important to us. If you have children and are on the fence about traveling to Morocco, just go for it. In fact, I think it’s almost better because the attention and affection you’ll receive is incredible. Truly changed my perception of “family-friendly”. I highly recommend Morocco Trips Agency for a trip of a lifetime!

Throughout our adventure, our guide, Moha, was ever-present, full of useful information, and went out of his way to be helpful. Our accommodations were always right in the heart of the historic districts we wish to visit.
